A fairy-tale holiday

This unique location in the Netherlands is like a fairy tale. At campsite 't Geuldal you will be camping in the only hilly area of the Netherlands, all the way in the south. The surroundings of the campsite are beautiful: tiny villages, hollow roads and green rolling hills. And from the campsite it is an easy drive to the city of Maastricht for a day of shopping.

Capture your memories

Wherever you look, the landscape is pretty as a picture. The campsite is situated between the river Kleine Geul and steep marlstone rocks. We’re sure you will want to capture this, so don't forget to bring your camera. Campsite 't Geuldal is surrounded by greenery, but at the same time it’s only a few minutes to villages like Valkenburg aan de Geul, Meerssen or Berg en Terblijt.

Swimming, sports or rabbit petting

Are you more of a water than a culture lover? Then cycle over to swimming pool Meerssen. This outdoor swimming pool is open during the summer months. And after your swim you will find enough to entertain you on the camping grounds. There is an arts and crafts cabin, playground, inflatable trampoline and even a petting zoo. What’s your favourite animal? If you are more of a sporty type, this is also the place for you. You can play boules, table tennis, football and volleyball.

Ice cold... ice cream!

So many activities, of course you can’t enjoy them on an empty stomach. You don't have to. At campsite 't Geuldal you can order fresh rolls in high season. A lovely start of the day, or great for your packed lunch when you go on a trip. At the end of the day you can get a quick bite at the snack bar or pizzeria. Or would you prefer to go out to dinner? Then Brasserie Bie De Groeve will appeal. This is also a good place for a tasty lunch. For a refreshing snack you can get an ice cream at the ice-cream parlour.

Enjoying the holiday together

Done eating ice cream, time to play! Your children will easily find new friends at this campsite. Making contact is easy, because at this campsite pitches and accommodations are mixed. The accommodations are located between the pitches, in separate rows. You will be staying on a large terrain with lots of space between the luxurious glamping accommodations.

Culture around the corner

This campsite is located near the A79 motorway. That means it's never completely quiet, but it also means you can be in the nicest places in a few minutes. For example, go to the city of Maastricht for a day of shopping or take a look at the Vrijthof square. This beautiful city is located about 10 kilometres from the campsite.
And if you are staying so close to Valkenburg, you’ll probably want to visit the caves. Highly recommended are the coal mine and Mergelrijk, where you can view special sculptures. You can even go cave biking here: mountain biking through the quarry!
Are you keen on mountain biking or bicycle racing? Then you might want to climb the Cauberg in Valkenburg. Get up in time to face this 'monster' and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy swimming pool Meerssen. Activities and relaxation, the ultimate holiday.
